What we believe about prophecy
This is a biblically-based ministry that uses the biblical term, prophecy and prophetic to describe the greek words, profiteia or profitikos. Both of these Greek words refer to one of the nine gifts of the Spirit according to I Corinthians 12 and I Corinthians 14:3. Which means; to declare the purposes of God through building, strengthening and comforting. Prophecy is simply hearing what God is saying to your heart and then releasing what you are hearing. The use of the terms is in NO way connected to new age or something mystical. It is used to describe God's design from John 10:27 "My sheep hear my voice and they follow me." In addition, we believe that all prophecy should line up with the character and nature of the one true God of the Bible.
